Healing Through Boudoir
Your body is your home. You deserve to feel comfortable in it. Trauma sometimes forces us to escape our bodies. Your body is amazing. It did what it needed to do to protect you. Everything that has happened in your life, the good, the bad, the traumatic – your body has carried you through it all.
As a tool for healing, boudoir can help to ground us in these wonderful bodies. We can begin to embrace the stories our bodies tell. Our traumas leave our bodies with stories of survival and resilience. Often, when someone is hurt emotionally or mentally, the physical self becomes distant. A boudoir session can aid in restoring the connection with your body and getting back in touch with your physical form.
